Lesson 16: Memo Details - Close Memo - Carrier Only 
Memo Details - Adjust Balance to Zero (Force Close) - Carrier Only
ARC Memo Manager gives the carrier/supplier of a memo the ability to adjust the balance due on a memo to zero (force close a memo). To adjust the balance due to zero: At the Memo Details screen,
  1. Click the Adjust button.
  2. Click the Action drop down box and select Decrease.
  3. Type the dollar value of the decrease in the by textbox.
  4. Click the Submit button.
  5. Once selected, the Results screen displays showing the new balance due as $0.00 and the status of the memo changes to "Closed - By Carrier".
  6. Click the Submit button.
  7. Once selected, the Memo Details screen displays and the balance is automatically adjusted on the memo to $0.00. The status of the memo is updated to "closed by carrier".
  8. Click the Cancel button to cancel the process and return to the Memo Details screen.
